Zurich's paradise

ZURICH

This trip was done quite some time ago (25th July) but since i have been a really absent blogger these days i have procrastinated posting it up. It was a great trip, one of those rare ones where the crew got along really well and we actually had fun hanging out after the flight. The place is amazing one of the more beautiful countries i have seen so far.

The lake in the middle of the city (lake Zurich) was absolutely gorgeous. The water's really clean and pollution free, most of it come from the ice capped highlands around it. We went for a cruise on and about the lake, drinking beer & enjoying the amazing scenic views. We had a ball of a time!

The water was so clean that hundreds of swiss people were swimming in the lake, others were yachting on their boats sunbathing with their naked bodies (*woot*) It was the nicest place! NOT just because of the naked bodies. nah!
Houses lined around the lake had wooden platforms leading from their doors to the lake private boats were parked next to these houses. It seems as though everything was centred around the lake.
One of the things i love about my job, to be able to spend unique moments like these, totally random, surreal as hell, finding myself on a cruise boat watching the cutest baby held up by an adoring mother, a naked man sunbathing on his private deck, hundreds of heads bopping up and down in the vastness of the crystal clear lake.

After the scenic cruise we took a train back to the hotel. Thinking its the end of the day and that we will part, we packed some food from the station. But on our walk back we decided to make a detour to check out a scenic jogging spot near the hotel. Its like walking into a secret garden, it was completely remote and natural, with the setting sun and a solitary tree, we knew this must be the better place to dine than our boring rooms.

And we were right. It was heaven on earth.
And out of nowhere came the cutest little shaggy dog. Shy at first but eager to please, sniffing around us, and finally eager to make friends with this family of strangers parked under the tree.
food was on his mind too. But we had only salads so it wasnt too appetizing for his cuteness.
imad threw a branch and the cutie darted straight in the direction of the throw. leaping in the funniest manner, with a tiny screechy bark at each mini leap, trying to get as vertical and as high as he can with each leap. It was the funniest sight we were practically rolling on the grass with laughter. we did that so much plus imad tried to talk to the dog with his fake german, we were laughing till our tummies ache.

His cuteness.
